A thirty-year-old building firm that had no website at all. Now it has forty-five pages, every one of them pointed at getting the phone to ring.
How it was builtPoole, DorsetUK-wide by phone
Not a one-page template. A real multi-page site, built by hand — with your domain and a year of hosting in the price. One payment, no monthly fee, and you own all of it.
Most businesses like yours are quoted £1,500 to £3,000 for a website, or handed a £40-a-month builder subscription they will pay forever. Neither is necessary. I build them myself, so there is no agency to pay for — just the work.
The work
These are real, live and built by me. Hover any of them and the whole page scrolls past — no cropped screenshots hiding the boring bits.

A thirty-year-old building firm that had no website at all. Now it has forty-five pages, every one of them pointed at getting the phone to ring.
How it was built
A private counselling practice with a site that was doing too much at once. Rebuilt calm, with one clear path for people who are having a hard day.
How it was built
My own product — an app that does a tradesperson's jobs, invoices and HMRC tax return. The site had to sell software to people who hate software.
How it was builtWhat £200 buys
There is no starter tier that turns out to be useless, and nothing that appears on the invoice later.
Not a single-page template. Home, services, about, contact — plus pages for the areas you cover and the jobs you have done, if they help you get found.
Registered for you and paid for the first year. It is yours, in your name.
Fast hosting on Cloudflare, included for twelve months. After that it is a few pounds a year, or nothing at all if you stay on the free tier.
Page titles, descriptions, a sitemap and the structured data Google reads to show your phone number and opening hours. Checked before it goes live.
Most people will find you on a phone. The site is built for that first and checked on real screen sizes.
Straight to your inbox. Plus tap-to-call and tap-to-email on mobile.
The padlock in the address bar. No browser warnings telling people your site is unsafe.
The domain, the files, the lot. No monthly fee, no contract, and nothing held hostage if you ever want to move it.
How it works
A phone call or a coffee. What you do, who you want calling you, and what is not working now. Twenty minutes, no charge, no pitch.
I write the words and build the pages from scratch — no template, no theme. You get a link to watch it come together, not a surprise at the end.
Tell me what is wrong and I fix it. That is part of the £200, not an extra. I would rather you said something now than quietly disliked it.
I point the domain at it, check it on Google and hand you everything. Then I am still on the end of the phone.
Straight answers
Because I build them myself, from scratch, with no office to pay for and no sales team taking a cut. A big agency quoting £3,000 is not giving a plumber ten times the website — they are covering their overheads. I would rather charge a fair price and build more of them.
No. £200 is the whole price. The domain and the first year of hosting are in it. After twelve months the domain renews for about £10-£15 a year, which you pay to the registrar directly, not to me. There is no contract and nothing to cancel.
Neither. I hand-build the pages, which is why they load quicker than a builder site and why there is no plugin to update or subscription to keep paying. If you ever want to move it somewhere else, you can — you own the files.
Usually one to two weeks from our first chat. That is the normal pace for this trade — most firms quote five to fourteen working days. The slow part is normally getting photos and details out of you, so if you are quick, I am quick.
Because a site built in a day is a template with your logo dropped into it. Writing the words for your business, getting the photos right and building pages that actually rank for the places you work takes longer than an afternoon. You are going to look at this thing for years — a fortnight is not long to wait for one that is actually yours. If you genuinely need something up this week, tell me and I will say honestly whether I can do it well in the time.
That is normal and it is not a problem. Photos on your phone are usually fine — real pictures of your actual work beat stock photos every time. If there is no logo I will set your name properly in type, which looks better than a bad logo anyway.
No. I am in Poole and I like meeting people face to face, so if you are in Dorset we can do it that way. If you are further afield it all works perfectly well over the phone and email — I have built sites for people I have never met.
Small things — a new phone number, a price change, another photo — just ask and I will sort it. Bigger additions like a whole new section, I will quote you first, and it will be reasonable.
Usually yes, and often at no extra cost depending on what you need. Ask me and I will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing or whether a phone number would serve you better.
Tell me what you do and I will tell you honestly whether a website will help — and what I would put on it. Costs nothing to ask.
